Catonsville Md, Jan 30, 2026- The CCBC Cardinals broke their 3-game losing streak this past Friday with a wire-to-wire victory over Baltimore City Community College 75-66.
The Cardinals had four double digit scorers led by Yassir Supreme with a game high 21 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Messiah Anderson wasn't far behind with 17 points shooting over 60 percent, while Jaden French and Kamren Hayes put up 14 points each. The Cardinals were an efficient 48 percent from the field with 44 points in the paint. The BCCC Panthers were only held to 1/14 from behind the arc which may have been the difference in a nine-point contest. Jamar Payen led BCCC in points (15), rebounds (6), assists (3), and steals (3) while shooting 7/12 from the field, while Diallo Long was the only other Panther in double digit scoring with 11 points. The Panthers tried to rely on their depth to get back in this contest, playing 13 total guys but could not get the Cardinal lead below 7 in the second half.
The Cardinals Men's hoops team will look to continue their forward momentum at home 6PM Wednesday Feb 4th against TPLS Christian Academy.
