Lady Cardinals Take 2nd Straight at Home

December 15^th 2025- The CCBC Lady Cardinals won their second straight contest on Monday night with a 81-64 victory over Salem CC to move to 5-5.

CCBC were led by three double figure scorers Keashiana Murphy(25), Tarshay Bell(16), and Anaiya Morrison(11) , the Cardinals 81 points were the second most scored this season by the team. The Cardinals also showed defensive intensity forcing 29 turnovers, while also winning the rebound battle. Along with her 16 points, Bell added 13 rebounds for a double-double. Keashiana Murphy would have her best game of the season shooting 55 percent from the field with 3 threes to go along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.

Salem was led in this one by Tanijya Shaw with 20 points and 7 rebounds, as well as Daniella Gustin with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Salem would have the lead at the end of the first quarter 15-12 but the Cardinals would quickly erase that and not look back, outscoring Salem, by 20 from that point forward.

The Lady Cardinals improve to .500 a 5-5 as they will look to move to 6-5 Wednesday Night as they take on Frederick CC in conference play.
