Cardinals Fall to Union College, 92–42

Catonsville, MD – The CCBC Catonsville women's basketball team faced a tough matchup against Union College, falling 92–42 on Sunday. Despite the loss, the Cardinals showed moments of grit and individual standout performances throughout the contest.

Keashiana Murphy led the Cardinals with a strong offensive showing, scoring 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including four three-pointers and two blocks. Vivian Windisch provided a spark off the bench, adding 8 points and 6 rebounds, while Sydney Oliver chipped in 6 points and 2 rebounds in 16 minutes of play.

Makenzie Foreman contributed 4 assists and 2 steals, while Emily Bartlett and Ric'Kema McLean secured a few steals of their own. The Cardinals battled on the boards, finishing with 38 total rebounds, including 16 offensive.

Although Catonsville struggled to find rhythm offensively, shooting 30.9% from the field and 25% from the free-throw line, the team continued to show effort and energy throughout the game.

CCBC Catonsville (0–2) will look to regroup and bounce back in their next outing again Bryant & Stratton Syracuse as they continue to build early-season chemistry and consistency.
