CCBC Battle Ends in Catonsville Victory

Catonsville MD, March 26, 2026 – Late Offensive Spark Leads to Comeback Win

The Cardinals baseball team overcame an early deficit against CCBC Dundalk to notch their 3rd win of the season. Freshman Lucas Livingston struggled early, giving up 5 runs (2 earned) and 9 hits in 4 innings, but was backed by relievers Jordan Brewer and Michael Payne who combined for 1 earned run and 1 hit in the last 3 innings. On the offensive side, Nick Midili and Kaiden Williams each homered in back-to-back innings to add to the team's total 8 extra base hits on the day. Other key contributors included A.J. Perry (2-4 with 2 RBIs) and Yamil Santiago who added another 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Williams began the rally with a 3-run shot to give the Cardinals a 5-8 lead in the bottom of the 5th as the team piled on 14 runs in the last 3 innings to mercy-rule the opposing Lions.

Baseball looks to take some momentum in the weekend as they travel to Chesapeake College for a Saturday DH; first game begins at 12pm followed by the second game at 2:30pm.
