Nine Returning Players for the 2016 Soccer Season

On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, Cardinals Men's Soccer Coach, Patrick Corbett recruited nine players from the 2015 season for the upcoming fall 2016 soccer season. Returning to the cardinal’s nest will be the following:

 

Logan Engel

Logan returns as a Captain for the 2016 season. Last season Logan started every game for the Cardinals as a Center Back, registering a goal and an assist. Logan was nominated to the MDJUCO team and Region XX team.

Before CCBC- Catonsville: Logan grew up playing for Coach Corbett with the Thunder Rockets since U11, and later playing for ASA Ajax. Logan played for North County High School as the team Captain earning All- County twice and winning an Anne Arundel County Championship.

 

Brendan Crossman

Brendan returns as a Captain for the 2016 season. Last season Brendan started every game for the Cardinals as a Center Midfielder. Last season Brendan scored four goals and assisted five. He was also nominated to the MDJUCO team and Region XX team.

Before CCBC- Catonsville:  Brendan played as a center midfielder for North County High School. He was a four-year Varsity player, being named to All-County and Captain of the team for two years. While at North County the team won the County Championship. He was also Captain of his club team, ASA Hurricanes.

 

Mike Gagnon

Last season Mike featured in all but one game playing as a Striker or Winger, scoring ten goals and assisting two. Mike was named to the Second-Team All-Region XX Team, and nominated for MDJUCO.

Before CCBC-Catonsville: Mike grew up playing for the Baltimore Bays as a striker, where they were Division 1 Champions. He was also a starter and All-County striker for Catonsville High School.

 

Josh Ridgley

Last season Josh suffered a season ending injury mid-way through the season. Josh played as a Striker, Winger, or Attacking Midfielder, scoring four and assisting one.

Before CCBC-Catonsville:  Josh played for Coach Corbett for his U13 year, featuring as either a striker or midfielder. Josh later played for the Severna Park Fever, and won Maryland State Cup in 2013 and 2014. He was Captain for Mt. St. Joe and lead the team in goals in 2014.

 

Percy Woodlon

Last season Percy featured in every game for the Cardinals as a Right Back. Percy proved to be one of the Cardinals most consistent performers last season. Percy had two assists on the season.

Before CCBC-Catonsville: Percy played for North County High School, where he was featured as the starting Right Back. While at North County he won the County Championship. Percy received several team accolades at North County, including "most improved" and team MVP.

 

Tyler Reyda

Tyler returns for the Cardinals having featured in every game last season as a Left Defender. Tyler has two assists on the season.

Before CCBC-Catonsville: Tyler played for Meade High School, where he featured for the Varsity team as a Left Back or Left Midfielder. He is also the captain for his club team ASA Ajax.

 

Dario Adilli

Last season Dario featured in every game for the Cardinals, playing anywhere in the Midfield and as a Striker. Dario scored one and assisted two on the year.

 

Osama Khan

Last season Sam featured in every game as a Center Midfielder registering two assists.

Before CCBC-Catonsville: Sam played as a Center Midfielder out of Catonsville High School, where is was two-year Captain and All-County. Growing up Sam played for SAC, Thunder, and FC Frederick while also playing for Maryland ODP. He most recently played for the Severna Park Fever.

 

Jordan Wright

Last season Jordan featured primarily as a Winger for the Cardinals, scoring two and assisting one.

Before CCBC-Catonsville: Jordan played for Meade High School primarily as a winger, however, can also play as a striker. Jordan was All-County two out of his three years on Varsity, and was a member of the ASA Ajax.
