Catonsville, MD – The undefeated Mercer County Community College Vikings, scored early and often, as they scored three first half goals, as they ended CCBC- Catonsville's two game win streak.
The Cardinals managed to answer with two goals of their own just, one right before half on a Mercer own goal that is credited to Jordan Wright and a second half goal by Mamadou Bah put Catonsville on the scoreboard. Dario Adili got the assist to Bah.
The Cardinals defensive backfield settled down in the second half, as they regrouped to shutout Mercer for the remainder of the game. Mercer came into the 7-0 and averaging more than 5 goals a game. It was a good test for a young Catonsville squad. Coach Corbett has to be encouraged by their second half play.
