Men's Soccer Slides Past Hagerstown
Hagerstown, MD – Sophomore Mamadou Bah scored a goal and assisted on another as CCBC Catonsville (3-3) won their second game in a row, with a 3-1 victory over Hagerstown Community College Friday.
Catonsville took a 2-0 lead into halftime, getting goals from Bah and freshman Billy Mudimba. Scott DeFrances got the assist to Mudimba, and put the pressure on Hagerstown. Freshman Jordan Wright also had an assist. Getting on the board early is something that has been stressed all season by Coach Patrick Corbett, and the results are starting to show on the field.
Catonsville got a late second half goal from Freshman Josh Ridgley to make it 3-1. Ridgley is putting together a strong freshman campaign for Coach Corbett. The freshman paired with Bah are becoming a scoring dynamic duo.
The Cardinals will be back at home on Sunday September 13th for a 2pm match versus Mercer. We hope to see you there.
