Cardinals Fall After Late Cecil Rally

The Catonsville Cardinals took a 3-2 lead into the top of the 9th inning, but the Cecil bats came alive with 6 runs on 6 hits to pull out the 8-3 win. Richard Hunt gave the Cardinals a strong 5 inning outing on the mound scattering 6 hits and allowing just two runs, one earned. He also struck out 7 batters. Leading the way offensivly for the Cardinals was Miles Campbell with two hits, Will Enrico had a 1st inning home run, and Abel Arocho and Matt Bougourd added doubles. Seth LeFever earned the win for Cecil on the mound.

The Cardinals will return to action on Friday vs Prince George's, a game that was originally scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
