Title: Men's Soccer Assistant Coach

Joe enters his first season as an Assistant Coach with CCBC Catonsville. The midfielder started his collegiate career of soccer at Tyler (TX) Junior College where he earned two letters in 2011 and 2012. He scored the game winning goal in overtime in the NJCAA Division I soccer championship in 2012. After earning his AA from Tyler Junior College, he made the decision to transfer to the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) to play for Coach Pete Caringi and Coach Anthony Adams. His first goal in a UMBC uniform happened to be the game-winner against No. 23 Delaware in the 80th minute. During his first season with the Retrievers he won an America East Conference Championship. The team also advanced to the Division I NCAA Tournament where he played many minutes. The Retrievers made history making it all the way to the Final Four in 2014.  

            Before NCAA and NJCAA, Joe also competed in track and field at Gaithersburg High School. He was the captain of the men’s soccer team and also earned Montgomery County Gazette Second Team honors in soccer as a junior in 2009.
