CATONSVILLE, MD – CCBC Catonsville Men’s Basketball Team led by 10 points at the half, but outscored Northern Virginia Community College 65-38 in the second half as they completed a 6-1 month of January, and defeated the Night Hawks 109-72 on Tuesday night.

All five starters for Catonsville (16-5, 10-3) scored in double figures, led by Everette Coker’s 23 points and 8 rebounds.  Ke’Andre Gibson had another double/double with 14 points and 10 assists, while Jalen Myrie had 21 points, Montaque Wright 19 and Harvey Paige 12.

The Cardinals finished the month of January with a 6-1 record and are building a strong reputation of being a very deep team.  Coach Greate White is rotating every man on his roster into games and they are all contributing on offense and defense.

CCBC Catonsville returns to action on Friday night, when they welcome Prince Georges Community College to the Jack Manley Center for Sophomore Night (7pm), as family and friends will celebrate the second year Cardinals contributions to this season.
